Account, Profile, and Player Link
Your account controls sign-in and personal settings. A player link connects that account to one shared kingdom player so personal analytics, rewards, appointments, and reading assignments can resolve the correct identity. The account and shared player remain separate records.
Update account settings
Open Profile, review the displayed identity, locale or other supported preferences, and current player link. Change the available fields and choose Save. Wait for success feedback before leaving. Profile settings do not silently rewrite a player's alliance, event history, power, or public game profile.
Request a player link
Search or select the existing player that represents you. Compare kingdom, alliance, current or former name, and Kingshot profile ID. The link can be accepted immediately or show pending review when identity confirmation is required. A pending link can limit personal features until an authorized reviewer accepts or rejects it.
If the wrong player is linked, use the visible correction path or ask the link reviewer. Do not create a duplicate player. Managers should correct the account-to-player association while preserving both player histories.
Security and recovery
Use a unique password and sign out on shared devices. Use Forgot password when access is lost. Never send passwords, reset links, session tokens, or provider keys in support messages.

Purpose, workflow, and worked example
The account identifies the signed-in person; the local player carries roster and result history; the external profile supplies supported synchronized values. The workflow confirms account, searches by stable external ID, reviews ambiguous links, activates one eligible player link, and verifies synchronized versus manual fields. Example: Two players share a nickname. The external ID matches one, so the reviewer links that record and leaves the other separate. Output is one active link, not a name-based merge. Linking cannot grant management, rewrite event history, or guarantee every profile field synchronizes.
One avatar across your account
The Profile page now includes Upload avatar and Remove avatar. Choose a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image no larger than 3 MB, then wait for the saved confirmation. Ordinary avatar changes have a 72-hour cooldown; the interface explains when another change is available.
The account image is shared by Event Tracker, Knowledge, and supported account-identity displays. It does not change your in-game player's avatar or replace the identity check for a player link. Use an image you have permission to share and avoid private information in the picture.
Name styling and personal benefits
Where configured, account names can use a gradient consistently across supported displays. Authorized appearance management can apply or remove styling for an account, role, or subscription. A direct account setting can override inherited styling, and a disabled account style takes precedence. Colour is cosmetic: it is not proof of a role, paid status, or permission.
Your personal subscription is separate from your kingdom or alliance plan. New accounts start on Free. Use Notifications to follow your account requests and decisions.
Configure appearance when you have management access
In Identity appearance, select the account, role, or personal subscription you are allowed to manage. Search to narrow the account list, then check the Apply to selection. Choose two to five colours, adjust the angle, and review the preview before selecting Save appearance.
Remove custom gradient removes the override, so an inherited role or subscription style may reappear. For a specific account, Disable all gradients for this user suppresses inherited styling as well. The order is the account override, then the highest-priority enabled role style, then an active personal subscription style. None of these actions changes access or purchases a plan.
